摘要 受传统的英语阅读教学方法的影响,英语阅读理解能力是学生英语技能中的薄弱环节。本文通过分析隐喻思维在语篇,阅读过程中各方面的功能体现,指出要根本解决该问题需要从思维层面来探讨。研究显示大学英语阅读过程中的隐喻思维能促使学生进行更有效的阅读,提高阅读能力。隐喻阅读教学必须以培养隐喻思维能力为基点。 Influenced by the traditional teaching methods of English reading, the students' capability of discourse reading is poor among their English learning skills. By analyzing the function of metaphorical thinking in the reading process, this paper points out that it is necessary to solve the problem from the pattern of thinking. Through the investigation and study, the paper also demonstrates that the metaphorical thinking in the reading process can promote the students to have a more effective reading and improve their reading ability. Therefore, it is critical to cultivate the ability of metaphorical thinking in the teaching of metaphor reading.
