Overview of Great Britain's Historic Libraries Forum

英国历史图书馆论坛成立于1992年,是英国历史文化遗产联盟的正式会员之一。该论坛主要是为那些小型独立、拥有悠久历史但易被忽视的图书馆搭建一个交流的平台,现已拥有500多名会员。历史图书馆论坛坚持自身目标,其主要为会员提供师友计划服务、开展年会与专题研讨会,发行简报等服务。该论坛对我国图书馆发展的启示有:鼓励图书馆参与历史文化遗产保护、中国图书馆学会可组织实行师友计划、构建图书馆社会支持网络。参考文献31。

British Historic Libraries Forum was established in 1992, which is one of the full members of the British Historic Cultural Heritage Alliance. The forum is mainly for those small, independent, historic but easily be overlooked libraries to build a communication platform, which now has more than 500 members. Historic Libraries Forum maintains its own objectives, which mainly provide members with mentoring services, annual conferences and workshops, and publication of newsletters and other services. British Historic Libraries Forum can provide us with the following lessons ： encouraging libraries to participate in the protection of historical and cultural heritage, Library Society of China can organize the implementation of mentoring program, constructing the social support network of library.
