比较政治学和区域研究在中国的发展:互鉴与融合

Comparative Politics and the Development of Regional Studies in China

比较政治学对差异性的重视和区域研究对地方性知识的强调存在着契合之处。从美国的经验来看,比较政治学和区域研究两个学科在20世纪60年代后的互鉴推动了两者的发展,但90年代以来,政治学研究的过度科学化导致两者的融合出现裂缝,区域研究呈现衰落之势。在中国的情境下,比较政治学面临着确立学科地位、拓宽研究视野等问题,而区域研究也需要提升理论深度和强化方法意识,因而两者的互鉴与融合十分必要。在推进两个领域互鉴与融合的过程中,处理好中国政治经验与外国理论之间的关系以及在战略需求与智识兴趣之间达成平衡是需要注意的两方面问题。

There is compatibility between the emphasis of comparative politics on the varieties among countries and that of regional studies on local knowledge. Seen from the experience of the United States,the mutual reference between comparative politics and regional studies in the 1960 s promoted the development of the two disciplines both.However,since the 1990 s,the over-emphasis on scientific methods in political science has led to the emergence of cracks in their syncretization,with a decline of regional studies. In the context of China,comparative politics faces issues such as establishing the position of the discipline and broadening the vision of research,while regional studies need to enhance the profundity of theory and strengthen the methodological consciousness; therefore,the mutual reference and integration of the two disciplines is very necessary. In the process of promoting mutual reference and syncretization of the two fields,it is necessary to pay attention to the relationship between China's political experience and foreign theories as well as the balance achieved between strategic needs and intellectual interest.
