The research status of nanometer magnesium oxide was introduced, and the preparation of nanometer magnesium oxide with different morphologies such as particle, line, flake and flowers were indicated in detail. The applica- tions of nanometer magnesium oxide in antibiosis and adsorption were also illustrated and the shortage of current research and the direction of future research were discussed.
