Discuss on FTTH Evolution Scheme Based on DOCSIS Network

本文首先介绍徐州广电网络的现状,网络发展的演进路线,分别对现今流行的三类网络改造模式:小C模式、双纤入户、双线入户,以及优缺点做了介绍。再选择有代表性的三个光节点,分别对三种改造模式做了成本比对,得出小C改造的成本优势,以及在其之上叠加光纤入户方案的可行性。

This paper introduces the present situation and the evolution route of network development. We discuss advantages and disadvantages of CATV network reforms, which are the C-DOCSIS model, the twin-fiber entering household model, the fiber and coaxial cable entering household model. Through three representative optical nodes, we compare three network reform models, and work out the cost advantage of C-DOCSIS model and the feasibility of FTTH superposition scheme.
