中医外科学是一门具有鲜明特色的临床学科,要让学生真正学好中医外科学,必须要更新观念、改变临床学科教学思维和教学方法,实现传统"灌输式"教学方式向"启发式"创新型教学方式转变。在中医外科学教学中,适宜地采用多媒体案例式教学,可以为学生提供一个真实的病例现场,在课堂中"再现"患者的就诊过程——从发病、就诊、检查、诊断、治疗到转归的诊疗情景,使学生把基础知识、辅助检查、临床诊疗等有机地结合起来,充分调动其主观能动性,启发学生思考,十分有益于培养学生的临床分析问题、解决问题的能力。
