Design and Application of Remote Centralized Control for Railway Crossings in Xiangtan Steel

摘要 铁路道口远程集中控制是矿山、石化、冶金等工矿企业通过自动化改造、提高道口管理水平、实现减员增效的一种新型道口管理模式。华菱湘潭钢铁有限公司运输部(以下简称湘钢运输部)通过对同行业的考察学习,结合自身道口现状和运输作业的个性化需求,提出采用视频监控、远程控制、网络冗余、光纤通信以及信号联锁等相结合的方案,集中到行车调度进行控制,取代现场有人看守模式,从而达到通过自动化改造,实现既保证道口运行安全,提高道口通行效率,又减少了人员,降低人工成本的目的。 Railway crossing remote centralized control is a new management mode for industrial and mining enterprises to downsize staff and improve efficiency. In this thesis, Transportation Department in Xiangtan Iron and Steel Co. ,Ltd. of Itunan Valin (hereinafter referred to as Transportation Dept. of Xiangtan Steel) has proposed a plan for remote centralized control which combines video monitoring, remote control, network redundancy, optical fiber communication and signal interlocking based on its crossing status and individual need for transportation. Through the above plan, on-site watching of railway crossings was replaced by centralized control from train dispatcher. And with the help of this automation, crossing safety is guaranteed while traffic efficiency is improved and labor cost is reduced.
