Under the background of innovation-driven development, intellectual property has become an important factor in promoting economic development and social progress. Jiangsu province enterprise intellectual property strategy promotion project has been undergoing in the province for 15 years. The project has not only cultivated a number of enterprises that enjoy strong intellectual property rights and lead the industrial transformation and upgrading, but also advanced the development of intellectual property service agencies, especially that of the patent agency services of the province. The article discusses the important role played by the promotion project of intellectual property strategy of enterprises in Jiangsu province in advancing the development of patent agencies in the province in a bid to provide best practice for the intellectual property offices and intellectual property service institutions in other provinces.
