高职旅游英语专业学生职业能力培养探析

A Research on Developing Vocational Competence of Tourism English Majors

职业能力的培养是高职教育的培养目标。通过对旅游行业高职高专学生英语应用能力调查,分析了影响旅游英语专业学生职业能力培养存在的问题,提出了教学、实操的改革措施,以及建立相应的"双师、双能型"教师。旅游英语专业学生职业能力培养必须有效地将英语的语言基础教学与职业能力综合实训相结合。

The cultivation of vocational ability is the goal of Higher Vocational Education.This study carried out a survey among the students of tourism major in a vocational college about their English competence,and further analyzed the issues that affect the formation of their vocational capability.This paper also put forward some new measures in teaching and practice and suggested some related means to train the teachers so that they possess dual abilities of theoretical teaching and practical operations.This paper pointed out that the students of tourism English major should not only have a good mastery of the English language,but a decent overall operational competence in tourism service as well.
