Objective To explore the effect of predictive nursing on patients with traumatic brain injury. Methods 80 patients with acute traumatic brain injury admitted into our hospital from October, 2015 to August, 2016 were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group. The control group were given traditional nursing care and the experimental group predictive nursing care. The clinical assistant rescue effect, clinical parameters, complications, incidence of clinical events, and family nursing satisfaction were compared between these two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of GCS and NEWS, examination time, time for the admission into emergency room, hospital stay, and total incidences of clinical events and complications were (10.82±1.44) , ( 7.05±1.01 ) , ( 17.02±6.49 ) min, ( 7.25±3.16 ) min, ( 15.06±6.61 ) d, 5.00%, and 5.00% in the experimental group and were ( 8.35±1.76 ), ( 8.37±0.84 ), ( 24.36±7.79 ) min, ( 12.89±5.37 ) min, ( 24.74±7.16 ) d, 35.00%, and 22.50% in the control group, with statistical differences ( P 〈 0.05 ) . The overall nursing satisfaction of the family was significantly better in the experimental group than in the control group, with a statistical difference (P 〈 0.05). Conclusions The application of predictive nursing in the treatment of patients with traumatic brain injury is significantly effective and can improve the satisfaction and have reference significance.
