紧密连接是位于上皮细胞或内皮细胞间的细胞连接复合物,对于上皮细胞或内皮细胞的屏障功能具有重要作用,其中Claudin家族是构成紧密连接的重要骨架蛋白,对于调节细胞间物质交换、维持细胞极性具有重要作用。Claudin-7是紧密连接蛋白家族中的一个重要成员,其异常表达可破坏紧密连接的完整性,出现细胞极性的丧失、增殖异常和侵袭转移能力增强。Claudin-7蛋白的表达受到多种因子的调节,了解这些调节因子可为抑制肿瘤的增殖和侵袭提供重要靶点。

Tight junctions are cells junction complex which located in epithelial cells or endothelial cells, playing an important role in the barrier function of epithelial ceils or endothelial cells. The Claudins family is an important skeleton protein which constitutes tight junctions,which is important in regulating the intercellular substance exchange and maintaining the polarity of ceils. Claudin-7 is a critical member of the tight junction proteins, and the abnormal expression can destroy the integrity of tight junctions,followed by loss of cell plarity, abnormal proliferation and the enhancement of invasion and metastasis. The expression of Claudin-7 protein is regulated by many factors, and understanding these regulatory factors may provide important targets for inhibiting tumor proliferation and invasion.
