摘要
探讨甲状腺转录因子-1(TTF-1)在第三脑室脊索样胶质瘤(CG3V)中的表达及临床意义。方法收集我院病理科2例CG3V,均为女性,发病年龄分别为28岁和41岁,临床主要症状为头痛、头晕、呕吐及视力下降等,病变部位为三脑室1例、鞍上1例。本研究采用免疫组化(SP法)对2例CG3V中TTF-1的表达进行检测。结果镜下可见胞质红染的瘤细胞呈条索或团簇状分布于黏液样基质中,核分裂象罕见,局灶见淋巴细胞、浆细胞浸润,2例均可见Russell小体,1例可见增生反应性Rosenthal纤维。免疫组化:肿瘤细胞GFAP、CD34和TTF-1均呈(+),EMA均(-)。结论 TTF-1在CG3V中可作为一项可靠的诊断指标,并可能作为一种潜在的转录因子在第三脑室肿瘤形态学发生、发展过程中起重要作用。
Objective To explore the expression of TrF-1 in chordoid glioma of the third ventricle tissues (CG3V)and its clinical significance. Methods Two cases with CG3V were diagnosed with the surgical pathology examination in the Department of Pathology, PLA General Hospital. ALL of cases were female. The patients were presented with headache, dizziness, vomiting and decreased visual acuity. Tumors were located in the third ventricle and the suprasellar region. Immunohistochemistry (SP method) was used to detect the expression of TTF-1 in 2 cases of CG3V tissues. Results Microscopically, the tumor was composed of epithelioid cells disposed in cords in a mucinous background with scattered lymphocytes and plasmocytes in the peripheral portion. No mitotic figures were observed. Russell body was observed in two cases. Rosenthal fibers were observed in one case. Immunohistochemically, tumor cells were stained positively for GFAP, CD34 and TTF-1, negatively for EMA. Conclusions TTF-1 is a useful marker for the diagnosis of CG3V and plays a potential transcription factor in the development of morphologically heterogeneous neoplasms in the third ventricular region.
