Contribution of Transportation's Energy Conservation to China's Energy Sustainable Development

摘要 交通运输是我国重要的用能领域,交通能耗自改革开放以来呈快速增长趋势。为抑制车辆保有量快速增长带来油品消耗的激增,国际已经陆续出台了四阶段的《乘用车燃料消耗限值》标准。未来交通技术和结构节能蕴含着巨大节能潜力,对控制我国能源消费总量、实现碳排放尽早达峰、保障能源安全、解决区域环境污染等问题具有重要作用和意义,有利于我国能源的可持续发展。 Transportation sector is one of the important energy end use sectors, which exhibits emerging energy consumption increase since the reform and opening up. To curb the increasing momentum of oil consumption from the rise of vehicle ownership, four stages of Limits on Fuel Consumption of Passenger Vehicles has been issued consecutively. There is great potential in transportation energy savings by technology improvement and structural shift, which is beneficial for energy sustainable development including energy consumption capping, early peaking of CO2, energy security improvement and local pollution reduction.
