隋唐时期党项民族“不变”与“变”的社会诸面考论

On the Social Phenomenon of the "Unchanged" and "Changed" of the Tangut in the Sui and Tang Dynasties

党项民族在隋及之前,"处山谷间"的社会环境相对稳定,史籍载其社会生活概而未清。李唐时期,党项民族受吐蕃浸侵而逐渐内附中原王朝,其经济活动、社会组织等发生了质的变化。文章以史料为基础勾勒出隋唐时期党项社会"不变"与"变"的主要事迹,探求在此社会变迁过程中,党项人对外部环境的自我应对以及在与他族逐渐密切交往的过程中政治与文化心态的转向趋势。

Before the Sui Dynasty, the social environment of the Tangut nationality was relatively stable, but the social life was not dear. In the Tang Dynasty, the Tangut was threatened by the Tubo and graduaUy attached to the Tang Dynasty, its economic activities and social organizations have undergone great changes. According to historical records, the article sketches the main deeds of the ＂constant＂ and ＂change＂ of the Tangut＇s society in the Sui and Tang dynasties, explores the self-coping of the Tangut＇s external environment, and to explore the Tangut＇s response to the external environment, and the trend of political and cultural mentality in the process of the close interaction between the Tangut and other peoples.
