A Brief Introduction to the Cultivation of Medical English Talents Based on the View of Economics of Language

医学英语人才的培养是医学教育体系中重要的环节,是我国医学事业走向世界,开展对外交流必不可少的途径与方法。近年来,语言作为一种人力资本,逐渐变为一种获得经济收益的手段,受到了各个领域学者的广泛关注。本文从语言经济学的角度来分析医学英语人才的培养问题,将语言学、经济学、教育学等多个学科有机地联系起来。本文首先详细阐述了语言经济学的内涵、发展历程以及功能,其次分析了医学英语人才培养的现状及存在的问题,最后提出了在语言经济学的背景下如何来培养医学英语人才。

Medical English talent cultivation is an important part in the whole process of medical education system; it is an essential way and method to present our medicine enterprise to the world and to conduct external exchanges towards other countries. In recent years, the language as a human capital, and gradually becomes a means of economic gain by the wide attention from scholars in various fields. In this paper, it analyzes the cultivation of medical English talents from the view of economics of lan- guage. The main work of this paper includes： firstly, the development and function of Economics of Language are described in details. Secondly, it analyzes the actualities and problems of the Cultivation of Medical English talents. Finally, it discusses its developing trend and puts forward the corresponding measures on how to cultivate medical English talent.
