The New Horizon of Construction Grammar——The Preface of Shi Chunhong's Work “Systematic Study of Interaction between Forms and Meanings of Constructions:To Interactive Construction Grammar”

施春宏教授新著《形式和意义互动的句式系统研究——互动构式语法探索》以形式和意义的互动关系为研究的立足点,系统考察了汉语句式系统中若干特殊句式(动结式、"把"字句、动词拷贝句、新"被"字式)的构造过程和语法意义,并以此为基础提出了基于精致还原主义∕精致整体主义方法论原则和互动-派生分析模式的构式分析新路径——"互动构式语法"。本文从三个方面概括了该书的主要创新之处:研究内容上体现出的突破性;理论构建上体现出的创新性;研究路径上所展示的科学精神和哲学素养。

The new book of Prof. Shi Chunhong ＂Systematic Study of Interaction between Forms and Meanings of Constructions： To Interactive Construction Grammar＂ investigates systematically the construc- tion processes and syntactic meanings of some special constructions such as verb-resultative construction, BA construction, verb-copying construction and new BEI construction. Then the Interactive Construction Grammar based on the sophisticated reductionism/sophisticated holism methodological principle and Inter- actional-Derivational Model is presented. This paper summarizes the main innovations of the book in three aspects： the breakthrough in research content, the innovation in theoretical construction and the sci- entific spirit and philosophy attainment in research approach.
