开放大学的建设是我国高等教育体系试点中一个重要内容,其核心竞争力的分析与培育直接关系到开放大学的发展前景。开放大学与传统普通高校相比有一定的特殊性,其核心竞争力表征与评价的要素亦有不同,故改革途中寻找开放大学的发展路径也要取长补短、另辟蹊径。

The construction of Open University is an important part of the experiment of higher education system in our country. The analysis and cultivation of its core competitiveness is directly related to the development prospects of the Open University. The Open University has certain partic- ularity compared with the traditional elements of the core competitiveness of colleges and universi- ties. Besides, its characterization and evaluation are also different. Therefore, in the course of reform, we should learn from each other and develop new ways.
