姚水娟是中国越剧发展繁荣时期重要的亲历者与见证人。她对中国越剧的贡献是多方面的,且主要体现在她是越剧演员、越剧改革者和越剧教师三个角色的依次转换中。姚水娟对中国越剧的最大贡献,主要集中体现在她从1932至1942年的11年期间,成为越剧演员和越剧改革的标志性人物之一。姚水娟不仅是中国女子越剧重要的践行者与开拓者,更是中国越剧改革的先行者与代表人之一。

Yao Shuijuan is an important witness of the development of China＇ s Yue opera. Her contribution to the Chinese opera is all-round, mainly reflected in the transformation of the three roles of the Yue opera actor, the opera reformer and the Yue opera teacher.
