CDIO模式下的压顶石项目设计与实施

Design and implementation of capstone projects based on CDIO mode

CDIO工程教育是一种崭新的教育模式,其核心思想是以工业产品(或系统)生命周期为背景,以项目为主线把学生必须学到的知识、素质和能力融合在一起,该模式要求工程专业的大学本科毕业生通过团队合作来获得"构思-设计-实现-运行"复杂系统的能力。CDIO模式的培养计划中压顶石项目是这种理念的集中体现。根据作者的教学研究与实践,结合国外大学实施CDIO压顶石项目的经验,给出了设计与评价CDIO压顶石项目的一个解决方案,包括:1)如何以CDIO的能力大纲为指引设计压顶石项目;2)设计和实施压顶石项目需主要解决的问题;3)如何定量地评价一个压顶石项目的培养效果。最后,通过NEU本科毕业设计的事前/事后对比实验,验证了该方法的有效性。

CDIO is a new engineering education approach that integrates disciplinary knowledge,personal skills and system building abilities into experimental learning projects,and teaches students in the whole lifecycle of products or systems.CDIO aims to culture students toward obtaining the abilities of conceiving,designing,implementing and operating complex systems in a teamwork environment.The capstone projects in the curriculums epitomize the ideas of the CDIO approach.According to the authors’research on the graduation projects of overseas universities and the practice in Northeastern University,an integrated solution for design and evaluation of CDIO capstone projects is described in this paper.The solution consists of the following 1）CDIO syllabus guided design of capstone projects;2）the procedure for designing capstone projects and the expected outcomes of each of its stages;3）the quantitative evaluation of the effects on students who participate in CDIO capstone projects.It is shown that,by a comparison experiment of pre-test and post-test to the Northeastern University undergraduate students,our method works effectively.
