摘要
目的探究呼吸道感染患儿中单纯WU多瘤病毒(WUpyV)的感染情况及临床特征,为呼吸道感染疾病的科学预防和治疗提供依据。方法收集2013年6月-2015年5月就诊于内蒙古医科大学附属医院儿科的1 632例呼吸道感染患儿的临床资料,分析其流行病学及临床特征;应用多重PCR技术,对其进行病原学检测。结果在1 632例呼吸道感染住院患儿中,病毒阳性检出1 136例,阳性检出率69.61%,其中WUpyV感染46例,占2.82%。46例WUpyV感染患儿中,单纯WUpyV感染为22例(47.83%),合并其他病毒感染24例(52.18%)。单纯WUpyV感染患儿的中位年龄为27.3个月,其中≤6个月8例(36.36%),6个月~4例(18.18%),2~岁6例(27.27%),3~岁2例(9.10%),≥5岁2例(9.10%);男性16例(72.73%),女性6例(27.27%)。单纯WUpyV感染在春季呈现高峰(45.45%)。单纯WUpyV感染患儿的临床症状多为发热、咳嗽和喘息,感染后主要被诊断为支气管肺炎。结论单纯WUpyV感染高发季为春季,患儿多为男性婴幼儿。单纯WUpyV感染的临床特征以发热、咳嗽和喘息为主,且多被诊断为支气管肺炎。
Objective To examine the epidemiology and clinical features of a single infection with the WU polyomavir-us (WUpyV) in children in order to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of respiratory tract infections. Methods Clinical data on 1,632 pediatric patients with a respiratory tract infection from June 2013 to May 2015 were collected, and the epidemiology and clinical features of those infections were analyzed. Multiplex PCR was per- formed to analyze etiology. Results A virus was detected in 1,136 of the 1,632 pediatric patients with a respiratory tract infection, for a rate of detection of 69.61%. Forty-six of the 1,136 pediatric patients with a respiratory tract infec- tion were infected with WUpyV, accounting for 2.82o//00 of those patients. Of those, 22 (47.83%) were infected with WUpyV alone and 24 (52.18 % ) were infected with WUpyV along with some other virus. The median age of children in-fected with WUpyV alone was 27.3 months. Eight patients (36.36%) were ≤6 months age, 4 (18.18%) were 6 months to 1 year of age, 6 (27. 27%) were 2-3 years of age, 2 (9. 10%) were 3--5 years of age, and 2 (9. 10%) were 〉5 years of age. The 22 children infected with WUpyV alone consisted of 16 males (72.73%) and 6 females (27.27 % ). The rate of single infections with WUpyV peaked in the spring (45.45%). The clinical features of single infections with WUpyV were mainly fever, coughing, and wheezing. WUpyV infection mainly caused bronchial pneumonia. Children infected with WUpyV alone were less likely to need hormone therapy compared to children infected with RSV alone. Con- clusions Of 1 632 children with a respiratory tract infection at this Hospital, 46 were infected with WUpyV, Most infections with WUpyV were mixed infections. Male infants and young children were more likely to be infected with WUpyV alone, and the rate of single infections with WUpyV peaked in spring. In addition, the clinical features of single infections with WUpyV were mainly a fever, coughing, and wheezing, and most cases were diagnosed as bronchial pneumonia.
