摘要
阿米什人是近代以来在北美迅速发展的民族宗教团体。他们在现代化进程中特立独行,对技术选择性使用的态度已成为阿米什人的标识。研究阿米什人在生产与生活实践中"规训"技术,使其服务社群生活的方式;分析阿米什人现代语境下选择性接受技术的范式;揭示阿米什人对技术采用拒斥——容忍——接受态度的文化语境;在反思现代技术对于人类的影响和人类对现代技术的依赖及其相关问题上具有重要启示。
As a growing ethnic-religious group in North America in modem times, the Amish took special attitude and way of action in modernization. One can identify the Amish by their way of using technology. This article explores Amish way of taming technology in work and life that can make technology serve community life, analyzes Amish choice paradigm of technology in modern times and reveals the cultural context of Amish way of ＂Refusing-Tolerating-Accepting＂ technology. This study will enlighten introspection of the influence of modem technology to mankind and the dependence of mankind to modem technology and the related issues.
