检视《财经科学》六十年的办刊历史,从初创探索到稳定发展,已从一校之学报跻身全国经济类核心期刊。作为国内核心经济理论期刊,《财经科学》将继续秉持"求是为本,创新为先"的办刊宗旨和"四大建设"、"质量导向,功能深化"的办刊思路和理念,深化并拓展刊物功能,在过去窗口展示功能与人才培养功能的基础上,探索并发展刊物的文献检索、学术示范、创新应用三大功能,更好地把握新时期办好学术期刊的规律,旨在更好地服务于西南财经大学"双一流"建设,努力将《财经科学》办成"国际知晓,国内知名,西部一流"具有鲜明金融特色、高水平经济类学术期刊。

Viewing the six decades history, Finance ＆ Economics, from the initial exploration to the stable develop- ment, has been a national economic core journal. As the core economic journal, Finance ＆ Economics, will continue to take the ＂truth-centered, innovation first＂ as journal tenet, and have the purposes of ＂four major construction＂ and ＂quality-oriented, functional deepening＂, and to expand the function of the journal. Based on the function of window display and personnel training function, Finance ＆ Economics will explore and develop the three functions of publica- tion of the literature search, academic demonstration, innovative application, and serve the ＂Double First Rate＂ construction better. We will strive to make finance ＆ Economics as the journal with distinctive financial characteristics and high-level economic academic journals, which is famous all over the world, and is regarded as the first-class journal of western China.
