也谈《汉语拼音方案》字母名称读音问题

On the Pronunciation of the Alphabetic Names in the Chinese Pinyin System Scheme

关于《汉语拼音方案》字母名称读音的争议观点有三类:坚持其设计之初字母自身读音的、改为英文字母读音的和对原有读音进行微调的。文章从三类观点提出者的身份角度批评了各自的局限,建议《方案》字母名称读音改革应综合考虑汉语拼音的系统性、工具性以及便于称说等要素,《方案》字母名称读音问题解决之道在于教学推广。

There are three types of controversial views on the pronunciation of the alphabetic names in the Chi- nese Pinyin System Scheme ： to read as the pronunciation they were designed, to follow the pronunciation of the English alphabet and to change some of them. It is suggested that the pronunciation of the alphabetic names should take into account the phonetic, instrumental and easy-to-describe elements of the Chinese phonetic al- phabet, and consider the pronunciation of the letter of the name of the scheme as a whole. The solution lies in teaching promotion.
