汉英版《围城》中“喜悦”情感隐喻的认知对比分析

Cognitive Comparison of Emotional Metaphor in E-C Version of Fortress Besieged

当代隐喻认知理论认为,隐喻在将抽象的情感概念化过程中起着不可磨灭的作用。本文将从情感隐喻出发,对比研究汉英两版《围城》中"喜悦"的表达方式。通过分析发现,英汉两种语言中"喜悦"情感隐喻的表达方式同异并存。这对读者把握不同语言的文化特色以更好地理解原文或者对今后有关"喜悦"隐喻的翻译研究都有一定的益处。

In the system of modern metaphorical theory, metaphor plays a great role in the process of emotional conceptualization. Based on the conceptual metaphor, this paper will compare the emotion metaphor in Happiness between Fortress Besieged in Chinese and Eng- lish version. After the research, the author finds that there are both similarities and differences between English emotion metaphor and Chinese emotion metaphor in Happiness.
