本文以广西科技大学图书馆为例,简述了高校图书馆自助服务模式的内涵与产生背景,通过列举早期与近期高校图书馆自助服务的模式及其特点,分析了图书馆自助服务的必要性以及对如何有效开展自助服务进行了讨论。

Taking Guangxi University of science and Technology Library as an example, this paper expounds the connotation of university library self service mode and the background. The necessity of library self-service and how to effectively carry out self-help service are discussed by analyzing the modes and characteristics of the early library self-service.
