市政府外事侨务办与澳大利亚维多利亚州代表团进行工作座谈

Officers of the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People＇s Government and the delegation from Victoria, Australia held a symposium

5月16日，市政府外事侨务办和市金融办相关人员与来访的澳大利亚维多利亚州议员迈克尔·吉德利一行进行了工作座谈。应外方请求，市政府外事侨务办介绍了本机构职能职责和重庆与澳大利亚的友好交往情况；市金融办介绍了我市金融行业总体发展、政策创新、对外合作等基本情况。双方均表示希望未来保持密切联系，助推重庆与维多利亚州在金融等各领域的深入交往与合作。

On May 16, a symposium was held by the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People＇s Government and Chongqing Financial Affairs Office to exchange views about relevant working with the delegation led by MichaeloGidley, the State Senator of Victoria, Australia. At the request of the Australian delegation, person in charge of the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People＇s Government introduced the functions andresponsibilities of the Office and the friendly communication between Chongqing and Australia; Chongqing Financial Affairs Office made a brief introduction of the general situation of Chongqing financial sector, policy innovation and foreign cooperation. Both sides expressed great their hope that they would maintain close ties in the future and boost in-depth exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Victoria in various fields like finance.
