Performance Analysis of OFDM in Broadband Satellite Communication System

建立了OFDM在宽带卫星通信系统中的模型,对OFDM各项性能指标进行了仿真研究,发现OFDM的PAPR问题突出,所以对该系统下的PAPR性能进行了优化,经过限幅滤波、SLM和PTS等3种不同降低PAPR的方法进行仿真,认为在宽带卫星系统中,PTS方法对该系统的OFDM性能有较好的改善效果。

This paper establishes the model of OFDM in broadband satellite communication system,does simulation study to performance index of OFDM,found that the PAPR problem of OFDM is outstanding, so optimizes the PAPR performance of the system.Through the simulation of 3 different methods to reduce PAPR, such as limiting filter, SLM and PTS, it is considered that the PTS method can improve the performance of OFDM in the broadband satellite system.
