湘鄂西红色文化是指遍布在湘鄂西苏区的革命旧址、革命遗迹、革命遗物和他们所承载的革命精神,本文通过对湘鄂西红色文化价值功能的介绍和分析,指出当前高校教育者在实际教学环节中,对红色文化在思想政治教育中作用的认识不到位,以此从重理论、轻实践,教育内容空洞、教学载体单一,科学合理的教育体系三个方面着重分析其不足,据此探究红色文化在高校思想政治教育中有效利用的路径选择。学习和宣传红色文化,不仅有着较高的历史研究价值,同时也有助于学生更深入的了解红色文化。
