摘要 Recent years have witnessed a dramatic change in Beijing’s primary and secondary education.Educators have done their utmost to break the trammels of traditional exam-oriented schooling and have adopted more diverse models better suited to the students of today,which foster their creativity and individual abilities.Students have long been disenchanted with the conventional methods of teaching geared towards exams which consist of learning by rote.They feel this approach is obsolete Recent years have witnessed a dramatic change in Beijing's primary and secondary edu- cation. Educators have done their utmost to break the trammels of traditional exam-oriented schooling and have adopted more diverse models better suited to the students of today, which loster their creativity and individual abilities.
