Reflection on and Construction of Taiji Culture Curriculum Based on the Idea of “Yihe Education”

句容市天王中心小学传承和弘扬百年办学的优良传统,以"宜和教育"价值取向统摄学校课程建设,汲取中华太极文化精髓要义,积极开发并建构"太极养心""太极健体""太极立品""太极益智""太极塑美"等系列特色校本课程,不断丰富和拓展"宜和教育"文化内涵和实践载体,为"至和儿童"发展提供了新的支撑点和发力点。

Our school inherits and carries forward the fine tradition of one-hundred-year education, and takes the values of “Yihe education” to construct school curricula. Meanwhile, our school absorbs the essence of Chinese Taiji culture to actively develop and construct a series of school-based curricula, which are characterized by Taiji-based mental nourishment, body building, moral formation, intelligence development, and aesthetic creation, with a view to constantly enriching and expanding the cultural connotation and practical carriers of “Yihe education”, so that the development of “Zhihe children” can have new support and dynamism.
