摘要
为了获得更大的通信容量,卫星通信频率将由Ku/Ka向更高的Ka/EHF频段发展,Ka/EHF双频段圆极化器是EHF卫星通信系统中的关键技术之一。设计了一种Ka/EHF双频段波导圆极化器,同时提出了一种新颖的Ka/EHF双频段极化分解器,该圆极化器和极化分解器获得了良好的驻波比和相位特性。借助仿真软件对圆极化器和极化分解器的尺寸和结构进行了优化,并进行了加工和测试。测试结果与仿真结果吻合较好,对所提出圆极化器和极化分解器的性能进行了验证。
The frequency of satellite communication will move from Ku/Ka to higher Ka/EHF band to obtain greater communication capaci ty.Ka/EHF dual-band circular polarizer is one key device of satellite communication systems.A Ka/EHF dual-band circular polarizer is designed, while a new type of Ka/EHF dual-band polarization divider is proposed. The circular polarizer exhibits good VSWR and phase characteristic. And the polarization divider also exhibits good performance. Simulations software is employed to design and optimize the dimensions. And fabrication and test are also performed.Test results show a good agreement with simulations, which validates the performance of the proposed circular polarizer and polarization divider.
