To Guide Women's Development with the Concept of New Development

五大发展新理念不仅蕴含着鲜明的时代特征,也决定着我国妇女发展的价值取向和行为目标。当前我国妇女发展呈现出发展的内生性需求更加明显、发挥社会主体作用的空间更为广阔、社会性别主流化意识显著增强等一系列新变化。为适应妇女发展的新变化,必须要以新发展理念为引领,激发妇女发展的动力感、增强妇女发展的责任感、增进妇女发展的幸福感、彰显妇女发展的存在感、提升妇女发展的获得感。在践行新发展理念中,提升妇女发展的能力空间,以此开拓妇女发展新境界。

The five concepts of new development not only reflect the striking features of the times, but also determine the value orientation and behavioral objectives of Chinese women. Currently, women＇s development in China takes on an array of new looks, namely, increasingly conspicuous endogenous demands for development, broader space for social presence and improved awareness of social gender mainstreaming. Tailored to those new changes, we must establish the concept of new development as the guiding principle. Specifically, we need to instill in women the sense of dynamism, the sense of responsibility, the sense of well -being, the sense of presence and the sense of achievement in an effort to empower women and break new grounds in women’s development.
