Westworld, a TV series, proffers a new situation for human being, which means to compare the real human to the bionic man and rethink the nature of human and the ultimate meaning of the world. However, it is just a philosophical labyrinth. The concern about artificial intelligence technology in this series makes less sense as a criticism on anthropocentrism than as a disclosure of the crisis of philosophy discourse which takes “mind” as a keyword regarding how to achieve self-awareness.
