Based on introducing colour painting status and recording importance of Gyeongbok Palace, the paper describes whole data collecting and processing process of Gyeongbok Palace colour painting by applying three-dimension laser scanning technology and digital photometry technol-ogy, and summarizes its advantages comparing to traditional colour painting recording method.
