This paper introduced the relationship between information and informatization, analyzed the basic characteristics of informatization en-gineering ,and from the investment estimate, budget, contract price, engineering settlement, auditing and other aspects, elaborated the cost man-agement of informatization engineering in whole life cycle, so as to reduce the construction cost.
