秦汉魏晋南北朝时期,随着经济重心的逐渐南移,杭州地区以其特有的地理区位优势,其经济地位逐渐在全国凸显出来。饮食原料作为经济发展的一个重要指标,在这一时期也表现的更加丰富多彩,主要体现在粮食作物、蔬果、畜禽养殖和调味品上。杭州地区在原有的以水稻及鱼虾等水产品为主的饮食结构之上,增加了具有北方特色的诸如粟、麦及山地旱作果蔬的种植,改善了杭州地区的饮食生活。

In the medieval period, as the China＇s economic focus shifted southwards gradually, the economic position of Hangzhou region shows up gradually with its favorable geographic location and advantages throughout the country. The dietary materials shows more colorful varicties as an important indicator of economic development in this period, and this can be reflected in the food crops, fruits and vegetables, livestock and poultry breeding and dressing. Based on the original diet structure with rice and fish and other aquatic products, Hangzhou area increased the crops planting such as millet, wheat and other mountainous fruits and vegetables with the northern features. It improved the diet life and increased the ability to cope with the flood and drought disaster in Hangzhou area.
