Unique geographical environment of Guangnan County created its unique diet culture. By investigating the features of diet and geographic influence on Guangnan diet culture, the thesis concludes that food culture in Guangnan shows regional differences because of the geographic factors. Special climate results in special food taste and habit. Seasonal differences also appear in cooking and food storage due to the seasonal change. At the same time, human geographical conditions such as national culture, religious belief and economic development also bring diversities of diet habits and taboos within Guangnan County.
