The Way to Improve the Quality of Adult Education by Learning from the Self Directed Learning Theory

自我导向学习理论有助于成人学习者自主学习实施,通过对学习需求及目标的认知来制定、执行学习计划,组织学习活动,推进学习进程,加强自我监管,有效自我评价等,从而提高成人教育的质量。开展成人教育必须树立学习者自主学习的思想意识,培养成人自主学习的能力,创设有利于成人自我导向学习的外部环境,提高成人学习者的自我监管和评价水平。

Self directed learning theory is helpful for adult learners to learn by themselves through the learning needs, objectives of the cognitive development, implementation of learning plans and organizational learning activities. It promotes learning process and improves the quality of adult education by strengthening self supervision and self evaluation. The development of adult education must set up the learner＇s independent learning consciousness and cultivate the ability of independent learning. In order to make the aduh ed- ucation in our country rise to a new level, it is necessary to create an external environment that is conducive to the adult self-directed learning and improving the level of self supervision and evaluation.
