From the perspective of the system, the contradiction and conflict between the national system of competitive sports and the socialist market economy is the deep-seated contradiction that leads to the difficult employment of retired athletes. In addition, the current employment security system for retired athletes still exist in the form of the protection of substantive support, heavy monetary compensation light employment protection, the lack of protection of the system of legislative protection and other issues. Study shows that implementation will help athletes ＂lifelong development＂ concept, to promote the gradual reform of the system of sports training; market oriented, taking employment as the goal, improve the occupation skill training system of retired athletes; social assistance to correctly understand the re employment of retired athletes, establish and improve the security of the re employment of retired athletes the legal system is the focal point in the future to establish and perfect the security system of the re employment of retired athletes.
