Turkmen Economy amid World Energy Market Slump

土库曼斯坦政府对外保持中立,对内努力推动经济多元化和结构改革,取得一定成效。近两年,受国际市场石油和天然气等大宗商品价格持续低位以及主要贸易伙伴经济衰退的影响,土经济遭遇增速下滑、货币贬值、财政收入减少等挑战。尽管如此,土库曼斯坦从本国国情出发,不断出台经济改革措施,保持了经济增长。但是,土库曼斯坦也面临一些不利于经济发展的负面因素,如果处理不好,将严重影响国民经济的发展。

The Turkmen government has made some attainments by its adherence to a neutral foreign policy and domestic reforms aimed at economic diversification and restructuring.Over the past few years,the Turkmen economy encountered challenges of decreased growth rate,currency devaluation,and slippage in fiscal revenue,etc.,under the impact of low commodity prices such as petroleum and natural gas in world market and economic recession of its major trading partners.Nevertheless,the country retained its growth through the promulgation of economic reform packages tailored to its domestic reality.However,Turkmen economy is still subject to the threat of negative factors to future development.
