摘要
从发展学生数学思维能力，增进应用数学意识，提高数学审美能力、优化学生个性品质等方面论述了高等数学教育在培养学生能力、提高人才素质方面的作用及其对高等数学教学的启示．
The author illustrates the funtion of higher mathematics education on developing students comprehensive abilities and offers some hints for the on going higher mathematics education. The paper focuses on the upgrading of mathematic thinking, mathematic ideology and mathematic aesthetics, etc.
