“Overall Perception” as a Design Method of Regional Architecture:A Case Study of Dazu Rock Carvings Museum

地域建筑风貌建设中往往更注重形式符号,难于达到延续文脉信息的作用。作为复杂性系统的地域建筑设计,应该从整体出发去把握"涌现"。本文介绍大足石刻博物馆的设计实践,尝试通过整体感知的方法,再现巴渝山地建筑风格在现代建筑上的体现,探索地域建筑设计新途径。

Formal symbol is always the most valued aspect in regional architectural design and construction, but it is difficult to achieve the role of continuing context information. We should regard regional architectural design as a complex system, and focus the attention on the emergency of the whole. Through the design practice of Dazu Rock Carvings Museum, this paper tries to show the embodiment of Bayu architectural style in new era buildings, and explore the new way of regional architectural design in the method of overall perception.
