摘要
以功能目的翻译理论为指导,对理雅各、老安的《礼记》两个英译本进行比较,探讨两个译本由于译者翻译目的的不同,所采取的不同翻译策略,以期为中国古代典籍的翻译提供一些探索性的借鉴经验。
In the light of “Skopos Theory”,this thesis undertakes a comparative study of two English versions of Book of Rites respec- tively by James Legge and Lao An, probing into the aspects of translation strategy.
