The article analyzes the main problems of the traditional periodical management in university libraries, expounds the new trend of under the network environment from the four aspects of the collection structure, information resource, service management and management mode and puts forward some innovative ideas for periodical management in university libraries in order to adapt to the devel-opment of network.
