Connotation and Extension of Landscape Architecture

面对现阶段风景园林行业所取得的成就和发生的问题,我们期待未来的风景园林会有更加美好的呈现。过去几十年是行业的成长期,获得了荣誉,但也有不少遗憾。根据风景园林行业的起源与现状问题,提出有针对性的疑问和建议,进一步探讨如何在未来的规划与设计中避免一些错误和盲动。在尊重自然生态的准则下,强化风景园林的核心价值,使之在更宏观的视野下服务于国土生态保护,地方风景规划与管理,区域经济协调以及综合效益,主导城乡风景建设并积极地影响与城乡建设相关的其他行业和专业的生态化发展。

By analyzing what we have achieved and what we still need to accomplish, we are expecting a much better future for the landscape architecture. The past a few decades can be viewed as the growth period for industry, in which valuable achievements and deep regrets were appeared at the same time. This article is aimed to point out key issues we are facing and to give suggestions based on the fundamentals of the profession and current demands of the society. It further discusses how to avoid mistakes in design and reckless construction under the guidance of ecology. The profession need to work harder to reinforce the core value of landscape architecture, which is to serve the country on land management, natural resources protection, large-scale landscape planning and management; and to help with regional economic growth as well as comprehensive study to lead urban and rural developments. Nevertheless we should also proactively infuence other urban construction related felds, such as urban planning, transportation, water engineering, to become more adapted to ecologically sensitive practice.
