退思园造园理法浅析

Preliminary Study of the Design Principle of Tuisi Garden

同里退思园紧扣"退思补过"的立意,因境成景。针对退思园"景以境出"的传统布局原则进行研究。结合史料、实地调研与测绘,通过对其相地到布局、立意到成象的分析,挖掘其景面文心的中国园林本质。以期加深对传统私家园林造园艺术的理解,为现代园林设计中文化意境的表达提供借鉴。

Tuisi Garden （Retreat ＆ Refection Garden）, located in Tongli Town, is closely related with the conception of ＂when he retreats, he refects and mends his ways.＂ The landscape is created by the artistic conception, which is the principle of traditional arrangement. Combined with historical data, site surveying and mapping, this study not only analyzes the garden from location to arrangement and from conception to construction, but also summarizes the essence of Chinese landscape architecture, i.e., the literary implication is embedded within the landscape design （＂JingMianWenXin＂）. The aim of this research is to facilitate a better understanding of the traditional private garden art and serve as a reference for expression of artistic conception in contemporary landscape design.
