Dali, where all the villagers belong to the Dong nationality, is located in Zaima Town, Rongjiang Prefecture in Guizhou Province. Dali was famous for an ancient wooden quadrangle courtyard, which was the public place in olden times where singers, artists and suona players would perform.
侗寨大利在贵州省榕江县栽麻镇,全村人户清一色都是侗族。大利有座古老的四合院木楼,名闻遐迩。从前栽麻也有一座四合院木楼,主人叫卜胡成。他有两个姐妹,一个嫁在栽麻,一个嫁到大利。当年,大利那户人家为迎娶卜胡成的姐妹,就仿照栽麻四合院的样式,建造了一座新的四合院木楼。'文革'中,大利的四合院也受到冲击,一些生活用具流失,房子也部分受损,但整个房子的架构依然保存完好。
