虚拟现实技术(VR技术)是一项集成了先进的多媒体技术、互联网技术、建筑技术等的综合性信息技术,具备交互性、感知性、想象性等特点和优势。将其应用于现代环境艺术设计之中,加强设计人员和客户的交流沟通,打破了传统环境艺术平面设计的局限性,为设计人员提供了多角度设计,进而设计出更人性、更优美的环境艺术作品。因此,本文先简单说明了VR技术应用于现代环境艺术设计的需求,再详细阐述了虚拟现实技术的应用优势,最后分析了该技术在现代环境艺术设计中的发展前景。

Virtual reality（VR） is an integration of advanced multimedia technology, Intemet technology, construction technology and other comprehensive information technology, has the characteristics such as interactivity, perceptual, imaginative and advantage. Applied to the modem environmental art design, strengthen the designer and customer communication, broke the limitation of the environmental art design, design provides designers with various angles, and then design a more human, more beautiful environment art. Therefore, this paper first illustrates the simple VR technique is applied to the demand of the modem environmental art design, and then illustrates the advantages of the application of virtual reality technology, finally analyzes the development prospects of the technology in the modem envi- ronmental art design.
