明郑藩仪卫正冯世昌墓志考

A Study of Ming Epigraph of Feng Shichang

2015年,河南省沁阳市沁园路北段出土一方明代墓志。墓主冯世昌祖籍山东巨野,始祖冯珤因武功升任南京豹韬卫水军所正千户,二世祖冯胜袭位,于正统八年改授郑藩仪卫司仪卫正,随郑藩王至怀庆府安家落户。之后,高祖冯宣、曾祖冯忠、祖父冯继祖、父冯汝迁袭职。墓主冯世昌生于正德十三年六月二日,卒于万历八年三月二日。嘉靖二十四年袭职。二十九年,郑恭王朱厚烷因向世宗朱厚熜上书建言被削爵禁锢凤阳,世昌也因此被发配边境地区的卫所充军。隆庆元年,穆宗朱载垕即位,朱厚烷复爵还国,世昌恢复仪卫正之职。志文详细记录了冯世昌的家世、生平和郑藩一些重大历史事件,对了解和研究明代宗藩制度以及沁阳地方社会史有重要价值,同时也对史书、方志起了印证、补充作用。

A Ming epigraph was unearthed in the north of Qinyuan Road in Qinyang, Henan Province in 2015. According to the inscription, the tomb occupant was Feng Shichang, a native of Juye, Shandong province. Feng＇s first ancestor was Feng Bao, the Battalion Commander of Guard of the Leopard Strategy of Navy. His second ancestor, Feng Sheng, inherited the official post at first and then was appointed the Director of Ceremonial Guard Office of the Vassal State of Zheng, following the Feudatory Zheng to move to Huaiqing. Since then Shichang＇s great-great-grandfather Feng Xuan, great-grandfather Feng Zhong, grandfather Feng Jizu and father Feng Ruqian had all inherited the title of the Director of Ceremonial Guard Office. Feng Shichang was born on Lunar June 2nd of Zhengde 13th and died on Lunar March 2nd of Wanli 8th. In Jiajing 24th, Feng also inherited the title. However, in Jiajing 29th, for the memorial to the throne, the Prince Gong Zhu Houwan of Vassal State of Zheng was deprived the nobility and imprisoned in Fengyang by Emperor Shizong Zhu Houcong. Feng Shichang was also sent into exile. In Longqing 1st, after Emperor Muzong Zhu Zaihou ascended the throne, Zhu Houwan was reinstated and returned to his state. Accordingly, Feng resumed his post. It＇s recorded in detail in the epitaph Eeng Shichang＇s family, his life story and some significant events in the Vassal State of Zheng. Therefore, it is valuable in the researching the patriarchal vassal system of the Ming Dynasty and the local social history of Qinyang, which is also helpful to corroborate and supplement the local annals and historical records.
