“莫落”释义考辨

A Textual Research on the Meaning of“Mo Luo”(莫落)

本文通过稽考文献资料,认为《汉语大词典》引刘向《新序》之文为例,训"莫落"为"缀结",未得确诂;"莫落"实为"幕络"之通借,意为覆盖、蒙罩。

Abstract： In this paper, by reviewing relevant literature, it is an inaccurate definition that the Grand Dictionary of Chinese explain ＂Mo Luo＂ （ 莫落） in Xin xul （新序） written by Liuxiang （刘向） into ＂cluster＂. In fact, ＂Mo Luo＂ （ 莫落） is a loan character of ＂Mu Luo＂ （幕络）, which means ＂envelop＂.
